I’m sorry but I do not buy for a second that this dumbass could have gotten away with killing a king. Realistically she would’ve never gotten away with this shit in the first place but it’s so funny how shocked she is that there might be consequences to literally murdering the king lol. Like im sorry you think it’s so unfair they’re going to put you to death for it but did you REALLY not see that coming???

Also insane she was able to just stab the king in the throat, avoid getting any blood on her and just waltz out of the castle like this king kinda deserved to die if he made it that easy

This sounds wild is she purposely supposed to be a dumbass?
I don’t think so?? But it’s still early so I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt for now lol. It’s just like my pet peeve having books start with a character pulling off a huge political assassination plot and the plan being like ‘I just stabbed them’ and somehow they miraculously get away with it. I hope they commit to her being an absolute dumbass though and don’t try to make her be super smart, if they run with her being a dumbass who got very lucky that could be pretty funny lol.
