Interested to hear what you think of this. My book club read it last year and really liked it but I thought it sounded like it wouldn’t hold my interest. I bought it anyway…and it’s still waiting on me haha

I have mixed feelings so far. I like it, and I like the overall message. But part of me also feels like it’s a bit “on the nose” with its commentary. And they’re hitting the protagonist over the head with the main idea, and she’s still not getting it. Also not sure I love the way her mental health is handled- like she feels shame for being on medication and being depressed.
