This close to the end of the year, I hadn’t really expected to find this years most annoyingly slow to react protagonist, and yet here we are.
Also there should be a limit to how many times a character can get trapped in rooms, because a vague, hard to figure out, shape is blocking the only exit. It’s actually possible that this whole book isn’t a horror story, it’s a Specsavers ad.
