Comparing sitting on that bench outside the dean’s office to the sit-ins of the Civil Rights Era… 🥴

I’m enjoying this book so far! It’s different from other Christian books I’ve read due to Goff being “just” a guy who came to love Jesus rather than a lifelong believer or theologian. Sometimes, that distinction is clear, such as when he writes “I wonder if God knew…” I’m like, “of course He knew!” But I’m really enjoying these stories of whimsy and God’s love lived out.
