I took a break to enjoy some other books. Now I've returned to it, it's still slow and dry and I'm just trying to make it to 'part 2' to see if there's any joy on reading it. Sadly, I don't have high hopes.

This books feels "slow", but maybe it's just me 🤷‍♀️. For some reason, I'm finding it takes forever to read a page. Can't quite put my finger on the problem, but i suspect it's the narrator putting me off.

It's well written, but feels slow. Hoping that this picks up and becomes a bit more interesting than a mere essay on feminism and "brilliant wallflower comes to society"
