I just finished Obsidian by Breene and it convinced me that I need to go back and read this series (set in the same world)!

I want to read Obsidian so bad and figured I’d start from the beginning first.

I didn't realize it was part of a larger world before I started. It was ok by itself but I definitely felt like I was missing a smidge of context. Hope you enjoy the series!
