Not sure of the book yet. Started very vague and now it's in a more artistic style of writing during Joe's dreams/hallucinations. Clearly an anti-war book but completely understandable for the time period.

Some poetical portions in the writing but still nothing to truly peak my interest in the book. I really don't see the anti-war portion to be strong besides in the introduction of the book.

I want to DNF but so close to the end and hoping to see some kind of revelation. The struggle between dream and reality was interesting though. But that was literally it for me so far.
