What a big loss to Chicken Hill!😭 Chona was ahead of her time bridging the gap between the 2 minority groups: Jews and Blacks. Definitely an inspiration and showcased what it meant to “love thy neighbor as thyself”.

I feel so bad for Dodo, but it so heart-warming to see the friendship he’s developing with his roommate. ❤️

The book has spent a lot of time building the characters, but I’m yet to see the plot unfold. The characters seem very interesting but hopefully I will see the plot develop soon…
