Just finished act II of this first volume. Li Susu and Tantai Jin have been trapped in Ye Bingchang’s dreamworld by a nightmare demon. They need her to wake up to get out but she likes being married to the emperor and having a son, but they will all die if she keeps sleeping.
Tantai Jin’s willingness to kill gets them out but he fails in absorbing the nightmare demon’s power.

Li Susu saves Tantai Jin who has been tortured. They are still sniping at each other but they are doing so with a sense of honesty. This is the first indication that they respect each other although they still dislike each other intensely at the moment.
