Got me in a hopeless mindset, I'm sure that's the idea though. Regardless, I have to take breaks from the book for my own sanity while I question that of our Main Character, Pepper.

I am intrigued, though there's a bit of pacing I would change up myself to emphasize some of the creepy aspects of Dorry. Also saying "I'm just kidding" After everything humorous in their dialog also detracts from the humor being portrayed. I hope that doesn't continue.
