I don’t know any person who went through their parents divorce and all the arguments and negativity and came out of it wanting their parents back together. For people to break a marriage and family is a big deal and having them get back together like it’s all just a whim is really annoying. That’s a lot of trauma to put your kid through for you to just go “lol oopsies never mind!”

I don’t love the trope of divorced parents getting back together. Just for personal reasons it bugs me
