Hmm. Women-folk being treated like mindless sheep who can't handle any kind of shock. A product of the time in which the book was written. I'm so glad we've grown as humans since then.

Hope you're enjoying this Theresa! I'm not so sure the women were being treated like "minsless sheep", seems more like the "town leaders" attempting to avoid mass hysteria 🧚♀️🙋🏼.
