I am 60% through, here's the tea so far. This shit is LONG, like too long. The plot isn't bad and I wouldn't say its boring BUT there is so much information overkill in this book and I am at the point now where I am thinking "what even is the plot anymore" because it is so dragged out that you start to forget things. Also don't know how the author managed to do this but, I find that the plot is not very straightforward but it's not super complex either. I think the author focuses too much on small details and world-building as well as the semantics of everything. For reference, I feel like the last book of the TOG series was worse than this. I do like the setup though, the story is not in chronological order and that's all I'll say for that, but I like how she did that, it definitely makes things more interesting. However, since the book is so long I feel like certain aspects lose their significance because it's like okay can we get to the next thing now? I'd say read it, it's super popular on booktok and it has a 4.5 on goodreads so I'd say if you're willing to commit to 1000 pages do it! ALSO DIDNT KNOW IT WAS A DRACO/HERMIONE FANFIC TURNED PUBLISHED BOOK WITH NAME CHANGES WHEN I BOUGHT IT LOL Otherwise don't think I would've bought it LMAOOO
