Not bad, I like that there is a thriller plus a romance part to it. Yes, of course Freda always makes me think. But all these POV's makes me forget where the beginning of the book just started. The detail and feeling when Dr. Conlan got shot was almost tear jerking. Mason is a mess. Poor Abe. And Heather, she's the main character I think, but you wouldn't know.
