I have NOT been reading over thanksgiving. Sitting on my ass isn’t that easy after all.

It is actually really fun annotating it. I am even taking notes based on some summaries that I find after each canto, as this includes heavy allusion to things more ancient than the usual mythologies. Amazing so far.

Great that there’s exactly 100 Cantos. I decided to read this as my new year’s resolution of 12 books should be completed in time, and so something more difficult / long is fine; not that it has held me back, of course, but I just typically take a far longer time to read longer books. I want a good period of time for reading. With this one too, I am making sure to actually analyze all of the poetry and narrative
