I wanted a horror murder mystery but all I got was the false promise of one. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING really happened. This is probably what that one reviewer felt like reading Jane Austen, only to come away with “it’s just a bunch of people visiting each other”….except it’s true. This felt like something Olivie Blake would write, not the author of a dark academia instant classic
