I've switched to the audiobook so I can just listen while at work. It's not really helping things because I really get the ick from a female trying to talk with a "masculine" timbre. I'm still having trouble fully engaging with the story, but I'll probably try to finish listening to it at work tomorrow. Right now I'm sitting at a 2.5/2.75 rating.

I'm trying to approach this with absolutely no preconceived notions or feelings as usual. I'm finding it really hard to get invested in this. I simply do not care (yet) about the romance nor Margaret's story. I do not hard dnf until 50%, so I'm going to keep going for now, but it's going to have to get more interesting...
