I can’t believe I rated this a 3 (probably coz I forgot I read it) because if I wasn’t so stubborn about finishing everything I start, I actually can’t count the amount of times I have wanted to stop this audiobook reread. I’ve never been so sure that Marquez does not in fact write in critique of Latino historic misogyny, racism and romanticism of pedofilia but he in fact perpetuates and loves them. This book is fucked.
