Emma was Miranda’s stalker.
Emma has a personality disorder where she adopts personalities of people she admires to an obsessive degree.
Heather is in the Old Lodge with Doug and Iain (who has been shot). They fear that Emma is coming to the Lodge because she may have seen Iain spot her killing Miranda.

Miranda found out Katie and Julien were having an affair.
Katie wanted something that Miranda had as there’s some sort of inferiority complex between those two that originated in childhood.

Doug was a sniper in the Marines. During an operation a young boy bundled in a big jacket ran up to his team.
From where he was perched, Doug saw this and instinctively thought the boy had a bomb. But Doug couldn’t bring himself to shoot the boy. The boy did have a bomb and blew up the men in Doug’s team.
So now Doug carries the guilt of not shooting the boy and preventing the explosion.

Miranda has said or done something bad to pretty much everyone present. Her killer is male I assume because in her drunken haze she has seen someone coming towards her with an expression of threat she’s never seen before from the is person. I think this rules out Mark as the killer because everyone has seen him get aggressive. This leaves Giles, Julien and Nick. I’m discounting Bo as he’s too new to the group.
