Me too, haha. I noticed you finished, and I read your review. Got me a bit worried because I've a ways to go but I thought our timing is quite nice, almost as if we planned to read it together :D

Yes! I finished a few weeks ago, but then I started Tom's Crossing, and I'm back in the cold mountains again. 😂

No way! I almost bought that book at the same time I bought Cold Mountain! It is a souvenir from my trip to Charlotte, North Carolina in the first week of December. Tom's Crossing is a big book and I had absolutely no space to fly it home with me or we would be buddy reading that too, haha.

I wish I was buddy reading this because there is so much I want to discuss with someone! It would make a great group or book club book.

Now I feel like I should go and get it, but I'm much slower than you. 🥲

When you do read it, lmk. And then we can discuss!
