Claudia Gray understands these characters on such a fundamental level and writes them so well. Add onto that how she writes the characters in such a human, real way and it makes her novels quite hard to put down.

I’m really enjoying how this has fleshed out Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon’s relationship as master and padawan. The supporting cast is also quite intriguing. Claudia Gray doesn’t miss.

Gray’s understanding of these characters shines through in her writing. I am thoroughly enjoying this story and better getting to know these characters at an earlier point in their lives than I’ve seen them before.
