Pros: the English dreary backdrop, historical references, quirky characters.
Cons: too drawn out, main character is unlikeable, none of the other characters are fleshed out enough-no clear bad guy/good guy. Has nothing to do with the holidays other than it’s cold and there’s Holly in the title. Also most of the story takes place outside of Holly House in the town. Difficult to finish.

Slow and a lot of dialogue, hard to like the main character he’s a bit dull.
