1% short, but I had to update, since I have been sleeping the past two days, and I know that I have to take better care of myself and my sugar levels, but this just happens like once every week, at least it's not more often now. And I do need coffee and such to stay awake and to read, so...?

Zarya is a 21 year-old girl, living in a magically imprisoned swamp, by the sea, in a cottage with Row, who had imprisoned her, and Aarav, his apprentice. Zarya dreams of freedom, and of what she might find beyond the part of the land she's bound to. She is convinced that Row is lying about her true life, about her parents not being alive, and about her past. Zarya wants answers. One fine day, she and Aarav discover Row, their guardian, gone. Disappeared, without his sword, they don't know what had happened to him. Zarya discovers that the magical veil, keeping her confined, has lifted, and she can therefore trapse beyond the boundaries set upon her.
On her travels, Zarya encounters two rakshasas (vampiric blood drinkers), as well as Aazheri sorcerers (magic-wielding). Escaping to the magical city of Dharati, she finds solace and help from the magical beings. Although planning to continue her journey beyond the city, she finds herself staying due to attacks from dark magic wielders attacking the city and its people (siege). Zarya decides to participate in defending Dharati.
