third reading and it just confirms that percy jackson and the olympians is indeed my favorite book series

i forgot how much joy and excitement the percy being a son of poseidon moment gave me. i was reading this moment at work and i legit squealed like a little girl again from how happy i was (enhanced by the fact that the teaser trailer for the show came out yesterday) 🥺

reading this again is like coming home after a long time away and boy how i have missed camp half-blood and those silly little campers who don’t know what awaits them

man how i have missed some good old percy’s point of views. the sarcasm is on point

man i’d forgotten just how much of a savage percy was for a twelve year old kid

re-reading this book in honour of the tv show coming out in december and because i news to have the full story back in mind when the chalice of the gods (aka pjo #6) comes out in two weeks
