It’s wild how much more cohesive these earlier Goosebumps entries are. Comparing this to even Camp Jellyjam where every scare and thrill has to be broken up into its own chapter ending cliffhanger and Dead House just reads like a regular chapter book. Also, Amanda gets to play pranks on her brother Josh and it doesn’t have to be her whole personality. Like she can still be sad about moving and also trick Josh
