I LOVE unhinged, obsessive men and badass women. But this feels like misery on repeat. Stacy keeps being like “yeah my stepbrother beats the fuck out of me but at least he’s not raping me” and girl… be ffr. That is normalized abuse and it’s hard to read. The MMC? I like psycho. I like obsessive. I like “no one touches her but me.” But this man refuses to communicate, acting like a toddler. You’re both adults TALK.

Sometimes the beginning is a bit insufferable bc the step brother is psychotic wanting to 🍇the FMC and no one in that household is seeing the obv signs. And also idk what kind of fuckery the MMC has gotten into but idk how he hasn’t been trafficked yet.
