this one was fine, but it didn’t hit as hard as i hoped. the dark military romance vibes and enemies-to-lovers tension are still there, but parts of the story dragged for me, especially in the first half. the connection between the characters is intense, just not enough to fully carry the book this time. overall a decent read with some strong moments, but not a standout for me.
