Kubrick’s movie is notoriously slandered by King fans but he ate with the creepy “237”green and purple carpet and green bathroom. In the book 217 has rose colored carpet, white tiled bathroom floors and a clawfoot tub, um BORING. The visual aesthetic of Kubrick’s Overlook was fantastic and that’s a hill I WILL die on.
