This is SUCH a good book

ALSO with the Duat world being strongly inspired but ancient Egypt, I believe it might be specially during the Amarna period when Tutankhamens dad declare only one god and pissed the whole of Egypt off (Akhenaten I believe?)

Okay so brain wave moment! The story has been split into three different worlds, extremely different worlds, and I think I’ve realised what dear James is doing. The first and original world, Res/Caten, is clearly based of the Roman Empire I’ve guessing around Augustan or maybe Julius era. Duat is obviously Ancient Egypt with maat, the pyramids, the jackal gods etc. Now the last one might be old Irish??? Gaul??
