Great book so far. Love how I have to stop reading every few pages bc I have an epiphany. Got me texting my best friends and partner things like “am I a perfectionist?” “Can you live someone more than you love yourself?” lol.

Reminds me of my therapist conversation. It’s realizing how everyday emotions we feel comes from a more primitive feeling. I also love how Brene Brown includes the way these emotions can show up in all relationships (parenting, romantically, professionally,ect.)

Love the dissecting of emotions and feelings. Helps me understand how complex and multilayered we are. But being aware of this, I hope, can help me navigate through my emotions with myself and connecting with others.
