I was so bored with this at the start, when he was still a farmer.

I think this book is reminding me what the Novel is supposed to do—a reminder that I am constantly, desperately seeking in everything I read. I feel that through the experience of one man, who is of another’s invention, I am undergoing a deep transformation. I feel that, arriving at the back cover, I will understand the world better.
