What the fuck - have i had a stroke? What is happening with the type set here? And who thought this would be a good idea?

He just copped a feel in his sleep and that's the most action this book has seen. Like literally - nothing else has happened!

Almost halfway through this book and literally nothing has happened.

This author isn't slow burn. They're more "overthink everything, internal conversation the majority of the book, make zero progress in the storyline and bore the reader to death". I didn't realize that I had read the prior book but when I looked it up, I distinctly remember being frustrated by the authors slow progress and lack of characters chemistry. And lo and behold, here we are again.
