Something I find a bit frustrating about this book is that it tells you e-very-thing. The narrator is so clever that he explains eeeeveeerything, from every decision he makes to every clue to every thought process his enemies or friends might have. Everything. There is nothing for the reader to really think about. Maybe that’s why it all feels so meh

The stakes are really high, but at the same time it’s all kind of meh? Very strange
