This might be my least favorite in the series by far. I appreciate seeing part of the world through new eyes with Manon, but I wish we had more of Dorian besides his budding new romance. More than anything though, I find myself constantly saying “sure, I guess.” with all of Celaena’s goings on. While I marvel at her struggle and growth, the payoffs with Rowan and then Maeve don’t feel earned or logical.
