I bought three of her books (I’ve been reading a lot of Japanese fiction this year). It’s very readable and she’s introduced a lot of interesting ideas and concepts that’s she’s exploring. I’m curious about where the plot will go, although the second half of the book feels more introspective and less plot driven (so far). I’ll definitely read another by Kawakami.
