How was Liyun able to bring a physical object through the shroud?
If the machine consumed the living souls first, how was some of the population able to survive and expand under the shroud?

I know people prefer a happy ending, and I am not sure myself what I would prefer. But I feel like the great sacrifice was erased with such ending…

It’s kind of cute how the viewer is a TV packed with kdramas:)
I am thinking, in the world that is so dark with only two light/energy sources of magenta and blue how did humans evolve to see a broad spectrum of colours? Or see at all…
A good example of thinking of how things would physically work I find in Projects Hail Marry. No light - no reason to evolve to see. Just wondering.

I like the Painter, Design and not that much Yumi. It’s generally hard for me to connect with the characters brainwashed since young age. But, she seems to be learning to live a human life, so I expect a significant character progression, perhaps even in a dramatic way. I wonder if by the end she looses her powers or just transforms
