A very eye-opening and powerful YA story that made me incredibly grateful for things that we consider “basic” like clean, running water and access to public education. I also love any story that is told from multiple perspectives that span across multiple generations. Especially, when the characters appear unrelated but everything ties together in an inspirational moment of clarity at the end!!
