Three stars are fair I think. The beginning was great but then the story started to drag and Chains isn’t my favourite MMC.

I really liked the setup and also Maddy as a character but otherwise. I’m not sure if I would read another book from this series to be honest.

The whole mama bear thing was cringe imo. Also I didn’t really se character growth with Chains.
