I take back what I said before about the writing; I was an idiot. This book is beautiful. I wish someone had told me about it sooner

Reading this bc my english prof said my prose reminds him of Fante. I'm very flattered. Although the printing and grammar is a bit fucked up lol... hopefully he was comparing the style and not the format? 😭 Like why have we switched tenses and narration like four times in 30 pages?
