How many times do you need to remind the reader what color a certain characters hair is? I get that they turn into cats and have certain colored coats but god damn, we don’t need 5+ statements on Luna’s black hair or Venus’s blonde hair. The writing is just lacking here, disappointing for sure

Why do we need to give the abusive dad a redemption arc? It gets irritating when excuses are given for why a person hurt others (especially their children). We could have done without this storyline

Sadly, this book is lacking real depth to its characters. I’m also finding it a bit harder to suspend my disbelief with this book than the previous one. I don’t think the stories are as strong and some issues I had with the first book have becoming glaringly obvious in this one. Still a kind of nice read but that really it, not much substance here

Your telling me the author decided on the story being that this girls father died in an accident during the winter because he swerved to avoid a cat? I get that this book has a lot of fantasy aspects but that’s just super ridiculous

It’s cute but cheesy, which is okay. Very much a chill & enjoyable read

It’s a sweet story again (like the first book) but the writing feels very clunky. Parts are over explained (more telling instead of showing), and also informative we’re given can be a bit repetitive. I enjoy learning more about astrology but I think that it might have been helpful to have that that intro in the first book instead. Maybe they didn’t have the idea until now, idk
