Kirsch, throughout the first two chapters, presents a number of logical fallacies purporting to themself point out flaws in modern liberal views on this form of settler colonialism through a series of vague, strawman arguments reminiscent of modern reactionary propaganda. Simply put, yikes.

Thus far, Kirsch presents a strong, misguided counterpoint to the notion of Settler Colonialism– the term he presents as the idea that a nation that exists on land for which it is not native is inherently harmful. This is an arguably misguided take on the true idea perpetuating this stance, that existing settler colonies remain harmful to the 'native' people.
