This chapter on identity and hence quitting how you are is interesting especially in our times of dividing societies. It’s kind of tragic how in the example the alien cult believers chose to keep believing despite being logically proven the arrival dates were wrong. Most people in extreme political corners seem to be in the same dilemma, it’s not about proving them wrong but understanding their desperate fight.

Im too invested in the book to quit 🤪 but its not a book about quitting it’s about maximizing success 🥱
