I don’t know why I’m still reading this. The unnatural speech patterns are jarring and the MC is a terrible person with no redeeming qualities beyond the obvious.

But now I’m beginning to feel like Seymour is a self-insert of the author and the MC is his weird self power play fantasy. It’s icky.
