I read the first two books in this trilogy at the start of 2025, and didn’t really mean to delay the third book all the way to late December…but it’s kind of fun doing the big finale as the year closes up. Fantasy books of this type have become less appealing to me as I have gotten older; I feel the stories are most likely to resemble each other - these quests and battles. But when I commit, I usually enjoy them.
