Called it! Problems from excess oilfield water in West Texas oilfields, per a WSJ story in the last few days? I called it over a year ago in prescient book Winner's Curse: A Lynn Dayton Thriller, highlighting intrigue around a valuable oilfield water recycle technology. Alas, still fictional but IRL quite important! Read it and be entertained by the characters and plot. And hope for a real-life breakthrough.
