if i hadn’t had a recent certain experience in my life, i would dismiss this woman as foolish. but her anguish rings true and i can only attest to that because of how i relate to specific aspects; it makes them seem less irrational, and more borne out of incredible pain. yes, objectively it may seem to border on ridiculousness, but with such deep love comes a greater loss, imo.
