This book is so frustrating. It had so much potential, but sadly I am now contemplating not finishing it. The characters are poorly written, and many of the scenes and situations in the book are too similar to other famous fantasy books (especially the Hunger Games). I will certainly not read any of the other books in the series, and I am not even sure whether I should waste more time on the rest of this one.
