Maybe I’m missing something because I’m on page 116 and so far I’m mostly bored. There are parts that are amusing but overall I just don’t really care about the story. I’m disappointed because I’ve been wanting to read this forever and I just keep waiting to be really engaged and excited about it, but it’s not happening.

You’ve gotta lean into the weirdness. Just revel in how freaking strange the names are and how weird their actions are…..it’s the only way to enjoy it 💀💀

I’m not giving up! Just putting it to the side for now and going to try again later because I know it’s a beloved classic for a reason!!
