Finished Chapter 2. This isn't just a survival story; it’s a total culture shock. The tension between the English sailors and the Japanese samurai is incredible. Life and death here depend on rules I don't even understand yet. It's brutal, beautiful, and completely immersive.

9% in. This is a complete culture shock. Coming from The Hobbit and LOTR, the 'rules' of this world are just as complex as Elvish history, but much more deadly. Blackthorne is a 'barbarian' in a world of absolute honor and hidden schemes. It’s intense and I’m definitely hooked.

So far, I just got through the parole log and it’s interesting cause they’re on this boat and we get to this port and I have no idea what’s gonna happen
