Already extremely hooked. Complex world building that is explained in a way that is easy to understand, rich characters and stories, amazing magic system, and no hints of smut to be seen so far. Only on chapter 5, but I can’t wait to read the rest of this book and the following series.

Amazing. Quite possibly one of my favorite fantasy books I’ve read. They have only hinted at a romance subplot on like 2 pages, with the rest of the book being filled with magic, world building, politics, and dynamic and diverse characters
